The KCPS Board of Directors is establishing a nine (9) member Community Bond Oversight Committee (BOC). The purpose of the BOC is to ensure transparency and accountability to the KCPS community regarding the expenditures and projects funded by the April 2025 voter-approved General Obligation (GO) Bond package.

The deadline to submit BOC applications was Tuesday, September 30, 2025 @ 3pm CT. Applications received by the deadline are now under review.

BOND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (BOC) SCOPE:

  1. Review projects for consistency with the voter-approved Bond program ballot language.

  2. Review Bond projects for timeliness, quality and budget.

  3. Report to the Board, no less than annually, summarizing the status of the Bond program and identifying any issues.

  4. Members serve the general interest of the public as opposed to any personal interest or special interest group.
